Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to confer on any person any right to enforce any provision of these Terms which that person would not have had but for the Contract (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.

The Spires, Barnet – Social Media Competition Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to all competitions run by The Spires, Barnet on its official Instagram and Facebook channels.

1. Promoter

The promoter is The Spires, Barnet (“the Centre”).

Competitions are in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram or Facebook.

2. Eligibility

Entry is open to UK residents aged 18 years or over at the time of entry.

Employees of The Spires, Barnet, its retailers, agents, or anyone professionally connected with the competition may be excluded from entering.

3. How to Enter

Entry instructions will be detailed in the relevant competition post.

Only entries that fully comply with the instructions will be considered valid.

No purchase is necessary unless otherwise stated.

4. Competition Period

The closing date and time for entries will be clearly stated in the competition post.

Entries received after the stated closing date will not be accepted.

5. Prize

The prize(s) will be exactly as described in the competition post.

No cash alternatives, exchanges, or substitutions will be offered.

Prizes are non-transferable and must be accepted as awarded.

6. Winner Selection & Notification

The winner will be selected fairly from all valid entries.

Winners will be notified as soon as reasonably possible and no later than two (2) weeks after the competition closing date.

Winners will be contacted using the contact details provided for the purpose of administering the competition.

If a winner does not respond within 48 hours of initial contact, The Spires, Barnet reserves the right to withdraw the prize and select an alternative winner.

The Spires, Barnet will never ask for bank details.

7. Prize Fulfilment & Collection

Once a winner has been confirmed, The Spires, Barnet will arrange the prize as soon as reasonably possible.

The timing of prize fulfilment may be affected by third parties involved in providing the prize; The Spires, Barnet cannot be held responsible for delays outside of its control.

All prizes must be collected in person from The Spires, Barnet.

Prizes will not be posted or couriered under any circumstances unless otherwise stated.

Prize collection is available Monday to Friday, between 9:00am and 5:00pm, unless otherwise stated.

If the prize is not collected within 30 days of contact, the prize will be withdrawn.

Winners may be required to present valid photo ID when collecting their prize.

8. Failure to Collect

If a winner is unable or unwilling to comply with these Terms and Conditions, including prize collection requirements, The Spires, Barnet reserves the right to withdraw the prize and select an alternative winner.

9. Conduct

The Spires, Barnet will not tolerate rude, abusive, threatening, or inappropriate behaviour towards its staff, partners, retailers, or online community.

Any entrant behaving in this manner may be disqualified at the Centre’s discretion.

10. Disqualification

The Spires, Barnet reserves the right to disqualify any entrant or winner at any time if it believes these Terms and Conditions have been breached or if fraudulent, misleading, or inappropriate behaviour is suspected.

11. Withdrawal or Amendment

The Spires, Barnet reserves the right to withdraw, amend, suspend, or cancel a competition at any time without prior notice where it becomes necessary to do so.

12. Data Protection

Any personal data provided by entrants will be used solely for the administration of the competition and in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation.

Data will not be shared with third parties other than where necessary for prize fulfilment or where required by law.

13. Social Media Disclaimer

Entrants acknowledge that the competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Facebook, or Meta.

By entering, entrants release Instagram, Facebook, and Meta from any responsibility or liability associated with the competition.

14. General

By entering, participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

The promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by English law and entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
